Dear Maharajas and Prabhus,
Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
Please let us take few minutes of your time and introduce you to the new Moscow Temple Project.
Srila Prabhupada came to Moscow in 1971, taking all kinds of risks, in order to establish Krishna consciousness in this very important part of the world. Srila Prabhupada left only one disciple here, but by his spiritual power Krishna consciousness gradually started spreading in the USSR.
Radhadesh, 15 January, 2004
Dear Devotees,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
By now you may have heard of Bhaktivedanta College, a Vaishnava seminary that was inaugurated in Radhadesh in September 2002. We have been offering a one-year Ministerial Program in Vaishnava Studies, which includes academics, skills, and devotional courses. The purpose of this is to provide a program of systematic education and training, with special emphasis on personal application, to develop the spiritual and cultural legacy of Srila Prabhupada. This enables devotees to offer more effective service within ISKCON and at the same time become qualified to use it in the professional world. The course has been very successful, and the results have exceeded the expectations of both teachers and students.
Narasimha Caturdasi
In Slovenia
Posted May 6, 2004
Devotees of New Yogapitha Dham in Ljubljana, Slovenia, organized a festival for Narasimha Caturdasi. This temple, although situated in a small country, receives some 100 to 150 visitors for a typical Sunday feast, and there is also an enthusiastic congregation.
We decided to organize the festival to run on Sunday and Monday. The program started at 4 pm with bhajans led by Sandipani Muni Prabhu and an abhisheka of Virya Narasimha. He is Ugra Narasimha with Hiranyakashipu on his lap, and Prahlada is offering Him prayers. Later on we had a lecture with slides by Abhinandana Nitai Prabhu and an enthusiastic kirtan followed by a feast of different cakes, savories, etc. If you ever have the occasion, please come to see our beautiful Pancha Tattva Deities also.
Every year we have conducted our New Year celebration as a preaching program in Slovenia. This year, the devotees decided to have a slightly different program. In previous years, there were also different performances and competitions. This year we had the following program:
At 18:30. there was a one-hour Gaura Arati lead by Mrigendra Prabhu and Narasimha arati by Sundari Devi Dasi. After this came a DVD film of Vrindavan Dham, filmed by Bhakta Zoran this year. Tapta Kancanadi Prabhu gave expert comments on the different holy places shown in the film. Mathuradhisha Prabhu, who has recently come back from a year and a half of preaching all around the world, was also present in the film.
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
Please let me share with you a few impressions from our recent Chandan Yatra festival at Narasimha-Ksetra.
The inauguration of the festival took place on Friday evening [August 22] in the form of a fire yajna invoking all auspiciousness and blessings and diminishing the demoniac influences of those adverse to the worship of the Lord. On Saturday morning, about three kgs of sandalwood pulp were applied on the body of the Lord, and the result was indeed overwhelming. If you doubt my words, please have a look at the attached photo.
Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
We would like to organize a Harinam sankirtan party traveling from Europe to India. Therefore we would be very grateful if you would put the following invitation on the notice boards in Hare Krishna preaching centers or in media or if you would inform any friends who might be interested in participating. If you could send us addresses of e-mail accounts or websites where it would be possible to advertise this event, that would also be a great help.
At the beginning of July, devotees in Slovenia started their second Padayatra. Last year's Padayatra received full coverage in Back to Godhead magazine with a ten-page cover story in the May/June issue.
The devotees this year had less work to do than last year, when they had to get everything going from scratch: a chariot, an ox, and so on.
The cart carries Srila Prabhupada's murti, a householder's Deities of Nitai-Gauranataraj, and Tulasi Devi. The ox is big (1,200 kg). He is named Bhima, and the devotees bought him last year. He has been waiting for this moment all year on a devotee's farm.
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupad!

Then the oldest and wisest of the fishermen spoke to him. "Son," the old fisherman said, "go to the city. There should be a temple of Krishna there, and they will know what this song means. We just sing it because it sounds good."
So our friend Tom, with a simple heart, came to the temple, eager to learn about Krishna and His Name. He bought a set of Srila Prabhupada's books that day. He also took a set of beads and promised to give it a try. We told him that sometimes Krishna comes as a fish, a great fish. We said that one needs to become a very expert fisherman to catch this fish and that by chanting this song, Hare Krishna, it is possible. Tom said he would return if he had any questions.
A week later, we received an angry
call from Tom. "I am in
trouble," he said. "My life is
ruined, and it is somehow connected to
this song you taught me."

Five hundred people from different regions of Britain attended a colorful festival to inaugurate Swansea’s first Hare Krishna center, opened by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness on 15th June. The center features a large mantra meditation hall and prayer room, a traditional altar with Panca-Tattva Deities, a library, a gift shop and Swansea’s only 100 percent vegetarian restaurant, called Govinda's.

Ramayana
in Polish:
Funds Needed
Dear Vaishnavas,
Please accept my humble obeisances.
The Polish devotees would like to make a request to all the Vaishnavas. By the grace of Sri Guru and Gauranga we have been working on publishing the Ramayana by Bhakti Vikasa Swami in Polish. (Please see the letter from Bhakti Vikasa Maharaja below.)
It will be sankirtan on a large scale because we are going to make this publication available to devotees all over Poland, to Indradyumna Swami's festival, and to bookstores all over the country.
We have complete translations of the book, and the first proofreading is finished. Now we are working on the second proofreading. The last thing we have to do is collect the entire sum required to publish the Ramayana. That is why we need your help. Every donation is very valuable here, and even the smallest donation is welcome. Please, if you have the material means and the willingness— support this project.

"Sometimes people wonder how a white English guy with red hair can become a Hindu priest – a dhorio Maharaj," laughed Kripamoya Dasa, senior priest at Bhaktivedanta Manor Hare Krishna temple in Watford. "Usually, before I conduct a wedding ceremony, there are a few bemused expressions. But when I start speaking in Sanskrit, and the audience sees the authentic Vedic rituals, they realise that an Englishman can become a true Hindu too."

Bhagavad-Gita Project:

Dear Prabhus and Matajis,
Please accept my humble obeisances.
I'm going to ask you for your help and support. We would like to realize a really big project: donating Bhagavad-gita as It Is to every public library in Poland. Then every single citizen will have access to the Gita. It can change the face of the entire nation. And we hope it can please Srila Prabhupada also, whose desire was to distribute his books.
To realize this project we (ISKCON Warsaw) have to order 10,000 new copies from the BBT, as there are not enough Gitas left in stock, and because of financial circumstances, we have to pay in advance for the printing. We have already started collecting donations, but we need your help.
