"In Service To Him"
Just over a thousand devotees came to the festival in Dniepropetrovsk, a large city in Ukraine. It was a three-day event: a day in glorification of Srila Prabhupada, the appearance day of Lord Nrsimhadeva, and my birthday. It also marked the 18th year of my service as a spiritual master.
On the morning of my Vyasa-puja celebration, I checked through the list of my disciples. There were over 2,000. Although all of them certainly knew me, I could not possibly remember each and every one. I took a deep breath. "It's a heavy service, isn't it?" I thought. "But it's the order of my own Guru Maharaja."
Please accept my most humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! All Glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Regarding the pictures of New York Rathayatra (Lilananda prabhu), the third picture where the Festival of India was set up, parade end, is Washington Square Park, not Central Park. This can be verified by visiting http://www.festivalofindianyccom/, then go to Festival Information, paragraph #3.
Hare Krsna.
Your servant,

"A New Beginning"
I took a flight from Warsaw to Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, with Sri Prahlad das and Rukmini Priya dasi. We landed in the early afternoon on a warm spring day. As we walked outside from the international terminal to the domestic for our connecting flight, we saw many people lounging about casually on benches or sitting at small sidewalk cafes.
"Acknowledging the Past and Looking to the Future"
For North American GBC leaders, Gurukula alumni, and parents
A representative panel of North American leaders wish to humbly invite Gurukula alumni and parents to meet with them in New York City at the Brooklyn temple on Sunday, June 12, from noon until 2 pm. (The day after the New York City Rathayatra.)
Dear Devotees,
I want to take this opportunity on behalf of Srila Prabhupada to thank all of you who personally rendered some assistance to me this past year in my efforts to overcome a bout with a very serious illness.
His Holiness Radhanath Swami and the wonderful devotees in our Chowpatty Temple serving Sri Sri Radha-Gopinatha kindly gave me full facility to mend while there in the wonderful devotional environment created by all of them. In addition, many devotees sent donations, large and small, to help me offset the costs involved in treating my condition.
This article is based on the reports of many devotees, whose names could not all be mentioned.
Last pilgrimage to Jagannath Puri
Ananta Rupini dasi, a French disciple of Srila Prabhupada, recently left her body in India. She was the wife of Nitai Gaurasundara das, who was formerly the president of the Paris temple. She had told Visesa dasi that she didn't want to leave her body in the West, but in a holy place. Lord Caitanya fulfilled her desire in a wonderful way, since she breathed her last in Bhubaneswar, near Jagannath Puri, the holy city in which the Lord spent the last eighteen years of His life tasting the highest ecstasy of Srimati Radharani's love in separation from Lord Krishna.
