Juhu Hosts Kazakhstan Officials

ISKCON Juhu Mumbai was pleased to host two distinguished officials from the Republic of Kazakhstan on November 29. The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to India the Honorable Kairat Umarov and the First Deputy Governor of South Kazakhstan Honorable Islam Abishev visited ISKCON Juhu, Shri Shri Radha Rasabihari Mandir.

The acting temple president, His Grace Brajhari Prabhu, took them for darshan and explained our temple worship and devotional standards. He also took them for darshan of Srila Prabhupada’s museum and quarters and spoke to them about the great work of the Lord’s dear representative Srila Prabhupada. Finally we took them to our Govinda’s restaurant for refreshments.

They expressed interest about the worldwide impact of ISKCON and what makes our philosophy different from others.

We explained the purpose of spiritual life, as we teach it, and the purpose of human life according to the Vedic version. They listened attentively to this ancient wisdom and graciously accepted photos of Sri Sri Radha-Rasabihari and other gifts from the temple including Srimad Bhagavad Gita.
