Detroit Rathayatra

All Glories to Jayananda Prabhu, All Glories to Srila Prabhupada, All Glories to Lord Jagannath!

On Sunday July 25, 2004, the Seventh Annual Rathayatra — Festival of Chariots will take place in Detroit, Michigan. The procession will start at 11:00 am sharp from the Scott Memorial Fountain on Belle Isle.

The parade will proceed to the southeast end of the island (near the lighthouse area) where Festival of India celebrations — dance, drama, kirtans, prasadam — will take place until evening.
