Toronto Rathayatra
Posted June 22, 2004

Rathayatra, the Festival of the Chariots, will be taking place for the 32nd year in Toronto. The Rathayatra committee cordially invites all Vaishnavas and Vaishnavis all around the world to come and take part in this wonderful festival, Saturday July 17 & Sunday July 18, 2004.

The parade begins at 11am at Yonge & Asquith (Toronto Reference Library, one block north of Bloor Ave.) The festivities continue at Centre Island for the remainder of the weekend.

What makes Toronto Rathayatra unique? It is our Festival in an Island, the ferry ride with devotees, vibrant kirtan on the ferry, and of course, the wonderful prasadam. It is one of the largest multi-cultural festivals in North America. Please come and experience the mellow of Sri Jagannatha Rathayatra in Toronto. Visit our website at www.iskcon.ca/toronto/ or contact the temple in advance at 416 922 5415 / 416 922 3373.

Thanks and appreciation from dipika.org to our sponsor and host,
