Hare Krishna! Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Six hundred students came here to Mayapur for a three-day festival over May 26, 27, and 28. Our student-preaching program has formed many student cells all over Bengal, and once a year they gather here in Mayapur. Each student chants a minimum of four rounds daily, and many are chanting sixteen.

While the students were here, they attended the full temple program as well as special classes and Harinam processions.

They also engaged in writing essays on Krishna Consciousness and in competitions on remembering slokas and recalling what had been said in Srimad Bhagavatam class. The top students in each category received prizes of Srila Prabhupada's books and maha-prasad.

And needless to say, they enjoyed lots of prasadam three times a day. Many of the students said that taking prasadam was their favorite activity.

The program was organized by the director of the Student Preaching Department, Ananda Bardhan Prabhu, along with HH Bhakti Purusottama Swami. Several thousand students are regularly participating in student cells all over Bengal. If anyone would like more information about this program, please contact Ananda.Bardhan.JPS@pamho.net

Hare Krishna!

Thanks and appreciation from dipika.org to our sponsor and host,

Your servant,
Padmalochan das
