September 13th, 2004 – June 24th, 2005

Bhaktivedanta College offers a one-year Ministerial Program in Vaishnava Studies, in three areas: Ministerial and Vocational Skills, Academic Studies, and Introspection and Devotion. The academic year is divided into three terms, with a three-week Christmas holiday and a two-week Easter break.

  • Equip students with academic skills in a Krishna conscious atmosphere;

  • Deepen the students’ knowledge and understanding of, and ability to apply the theology and philosophy of Gaudiya Vaishnavism, in the line of Srila Prabhupada;

  • Empower students to teach others to apply Krishna consciousness;

  • Deepen students’ appreciation of and commitment to Krishna consciousness as an introspective process of spiritual development;

  • Prepare students to serve the Vaishnava community with care, concern, and respect;

  • Help students recognize their areas of competence and facilitate their placement in a Krishna conscious vocation;

  • Promote understanding of ISKCON’s identity in the Gaudiya-Vaishnava and Vedic traditions.

The certificate in Vaisnava studies is accredited by the University of Wales, Lampeter.
