All glories to

A Tribute to Kritakarma Prabhu
From Jahnava Nitai Das
Posted May 1, 2004

Dear Kritakarma Prabhu,

Please accept my most fallen obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! All glories to your good self and your devotional service. Please forgive me for the many offenses I have committed against you.

I had heard the news of your passing two days ago and was hoping it was just a rumor. But today I have seen the articles on the internet confirming that you have left us and returned to Krishna.

I am sorry that I did not spend more time communicating with you over the last few months. You were my very close friend, but somehow our distances and different services kept us from communicating with each other frequently. But I would always talk about you here to all the devotees, telling how nice a devotee you are.

Thanks and appreciation from dipika.org to our sponsor and host,

After looking through my inbox today, I saw a nice letter you had sent me many months ago, which I accidentally failed to reply to. I am very sorry for not having replied.

Today I know I am very fortunate, for one of my close friends has returned to Krishna and will certainly shower his blessings on me so that I can advance quickly in devotional service. Still I feel very sad that I will not be able to associate with you for the present.

I have learned a lot from you about devotional life. You taught me how a devotee should be selfless and should sacrifice himself in the mission of his spiritual master. You have done so much service for Srila Prabhupada without any consideration of remuneration or personal gain. Thank you for all the lessons you have taught me. I wish I could have spent more time in your association, but I know I will again get the chance to be with you and to serve you in Vaikuntha.

You desired so much to return to Vrindavan and serve Sri Sri Radha Shyamasundara, but were unable to for so many material reasons. Now Krishna has personally brought you to His original Vrindavan to participate in His nitya-lila.

Please pray for me and shower your blessings on me so that I may advance in devotional service. Again, please forgive me for the many offenses I committed to you, sometimes playing or joking with you. I know I was very junior to you, but you always tolerated my mistakes like an uncle or big brother.

Your servant,
Jahnava Nitai Das,
Bhaktivedanta Ashram, Bhadrak, Orissa
