Festival of Inspiration with Sankirtana das Posted April 25, 2004 Thursday, May 6th, 10:00 - 4:00 pm "Unleashing the Power of Story" Stories help us retain ideas, focus the mind, learn new things, and they help bring the listener to a stage of submissive aural reception. This all-day hands-on workshop with Sankirtana das is a storytelling intensive that will help participants understand techniques for rehearsing and telling stories to an audience. Participants will also work on the use of voice and gesture. This is a great opportunity for devotees doing any type of preaching, speaking, teaching, and performing. Learn how to enhance your storytelling/preaching by engaging the imagination of your audience and holding their attention. Participants are encouraged to bring a story of two or three pages double-spaced, which they can work on. If you don't, that's OK. Sankirtana will have printed stories available for participants to work with. Space Is Limited To 20 Participants.
