Pre-Festival Workshop
with Sankirtana das
Posted April 25, 2004

"Unleashing the Power of Story"

Stories help us retain ideas, focus the mind, learn new things, and they help bring the listener to a stage of submissive aural reception. This all-day hands-on workshop with Sankirtana das is a storytelling intensive that will help participants understand techniques for rehearsing and telling stories to an audience. Participants will also work on the use of voice and gesture. This is a great opportunity for devotees doing any type of preaching, speaking, teaching, and performing. Learn how to enhance your storytelling/preaching by engaging the imagination of your audience and holding their attention.

Participants are encouraged to bring a story of two or three pages double-spaced, which they can work on. If you don't, that's OK. Sankirtana will have printed stories available for participants to work with.

Thanks and appreciation from dipika.org to our sponsor and host,

Space Is Limited To 20 Participants.

Workshop Fee Only $20

To pre-register contact Sankirtan at 304-845-6840 or story108@juno.com
