Thanks to
ISKCON Chowpatty From Deena Bandhu Das Posted January 9, 2004
On behalf of the management and all the devotees of Sri Sri Krishna Balaram Mandir, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to His Holiness Radhanatha Swami and the devotees of ISKCON Chowpatty. For almost six months, six or eight devotees remained here in Vrindavan on a rotating basis to give special training, classes, and association to the brahmacaris here in our ashram. Many devotees took advantage of their classes and association and were enlivened in Krishna Consciousness. Included among the devotees who came were four of the rotating temple presidents of ISKCON Chowpatty: Govinda, Shyamananda, Sanat Kumara, and Radha Gopinatha Prabhus. Gauranga das, who is a vice president and is very much appreciated for his Bhagavad Gita lectures on the Atma Program of Star Plus, also came and enlivened the devotees with his wonderful classes. During Srila Prabhupada's Disappearance festival, ISKCON Chowpatty sent over fifty devotees at their own expense to help with guest reception and serving prasadam. This was highly appreciated by all the visiting devotees. This was a very openhearted and broadminded offering on behalf of His Holiness Radhanatha Swami to extend such a wonderful example of cooperation between temples. We had approached many people to help us to improve the consciousness in one of Srila Prabhupada's most important temples, but Maharaja was the only one who responded in such a generous manner. We hope that the spirit of cooperation and reciprocation between temples will continue in the future also. We remain eternally grateful to His Holiness Radhanatha Swami and the devotees of ISKCON Chowpatty. Hare Krishna! In Service of Sri Sri Krishna
Balaram, We also thank Radheshyam Prabhu from ISKCON Pune for sending devotees to assist us in Sri Vrndavana Dham. Thank you. Hare Krishna. Your servant, © dipika.org January 9, 2004 |
