In Vrindavan Mahimamrita it says, "One who helps one who resides in Vrindavan makes millions of times more advancement than one who lives there, as he helps himself and the other person."

I have been living in Vrindavan for eight years by the mercy of my Gurudeva, Srila Virabahu Maharaj. For five years it was my good fortune to do gurukula seva, and now I manage the womens ministry at Krsna Balaram Mandir. I also had the good fortune to reside in New Dwarka, Los Angeles, for ten years, serving Rukmini Dwarkadisha as assistant pujari and ashram leader.

I am now limited in my ability to serve because of the need for total knee replacement surgery. I had an accident 30 years ago that resulted in removing all the cartilage in my right knee. Now 30 years of walking with no cartilage has caused severe bone loss. Alternative medical approaches, which once worked, work no more. I need crutches to walk and have a lot of pain. The needed surgery costs $3500.00. I would be very grateful to anyone who could help toward this cost, as I do not have the money.
