Pray for
Bhubaneshwar Prabhu By Hari-sauri dasa Posted July 29, 2003
Dear Devotees, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! Sriman Bhubaneshwar prabhu, the beloved long-time head cook at Krsna Balarama Mandir in Vrindavana, slipped and fell two days ago and broke his right hip and shoulder. It happened at 4.28 AM as he was coming out of the temple. He is in hospital in Mathura, and at the time of writing (8:30 AM Sunday 27 July 2002), he is being operated on to put a pin in his hip. His prognosis is good, and no complications are expected. Although bedridden, he is in good spirits and wasn't in too much pain when I saw him yesterday. The surgeon, Dr. Ravi Kant, is quite expert, so we don't expect any difficulties. He predicts Bhubanesvar will be out of hospital within five days and should be up and walking around on crutches within 16 days. Still, we humbly request some prayers from the Vaishnavas for his well-being as this will go a long way to help in his recovery. Devotees wishing to find out more may write to the temple management Sarvabhauma@pamho.net here in Vrindavan. Your humble servant, © dipika.org July 29, 2003 |
