Krishna Consciousness is spreading to every town and village in West Africa. We have just opened a new center in Lome, Togo. This is a Francophone country. The temple here is barely four months old, but there are people here who have been in contact with Krishna Consciousness for more than fifteen years. Quite a number of them have almost all the collection of Krishna conscious books.

But most surprising is the level of devotional practice of some of these Togolese people, who have never seen an ISKCON temple before but have been able to establish their home altars and are practicing their daily sadhana.

The temple inauguration is scheduled to take place on Janmastami, in August.
