If only stopping "street chanting" would increase our numbers then I am certain we would all follow that advice.

The point made above is also incorrect.

Srila Prabhupada stresses three activities: distribute books, do Harinam, and distribute prasadam. Srila Prabhupada established ISKCON as a preaching platform. He stresses the three activities above. We are not interested in any other advice than the advice given by Srila Prabhuapada.
